Myanmar’s authorities is being accused of intentionally destroying proof of attainable “crimes in opposition to humanity” in opposition to the Rohingya minority.
Zeid Ra’advert al-Hussein, the UN excessive commissioner for human rights, says the Rohingya are being starved to dying after a violent army crackdown, mass killings and rapes that brought on a significant refugee disaster.
The excessive commissioner has issued a number of condemnations of Myanmar’s therapy of the Rohingya and is warning that the “ethnic cleaning” that started in August is ongoing.
